The sterile requirements of a blood laboratory traditionally translate into austere, cold environments—compounding an already unpleasant experience for some patients.
Here, the conventional mold is broken with bold color and textural changes, imparting a resort-style level of comfort. The upscale ambiance also relates to the project’s unusual location along one of the City’s premiere retail boulevards.
Organizationally, the facility divides into several zones:
Front—patient waiting/check-in;
Middle—procedures/management offices;
Rear—testing laboratory/staff rooms.
